Relearning how to explain your emotions
When you were little you learned about happy and sad and angry, but with PMDD and adolescence emotions expand and become ever more complicated. Your old catalog of emotions might not be adequate to describe how you feel. PMDD is more than angry or afraid or sad; sometimes you feel all three at once and sometimes you don't even have words to explain how you feel. In addition, PMDD and the jumbled thoughts it can bring often make explaining how you feel even harder.
